Benjamin Bos

Sports physical therapist | MSc. Manual Therapist

Benjamin Bos is a manual therapist and sports physical therapist. His specialty is in the areas of neck and shoulder pain and low back hip pain. He also earned a master of science degree in manual therapy in 2013. He researched groin pain in game athletes where the cause of the symptoms come from the hip joint. He has 20 years of experience treating recreational and elite athletes.

As a former field hockey player, his affinity lies with the sport of field hockey. As a former field hockey player, his affinity lies with the sport of field hockey. In 2010, he accompanied a group of riders riding the Tour de France for Kika. He himself cycles an occasional race and tries to ride a few classic tour rides a year. In 2016, Benjamin and his cycling buddies rode “The Tour for Life,” a trek from northern Italy to Rotterdam. A trip of almost 1400 km for the Daniël den Hoed foundation.

Benjamin spent 10 years as a lecturer at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, in the physical therapy program, where he taught 2 days a week. He is currently still affiliated with HVA for half a day a week as a subproject leader in the honors program. In 2016, Benjamin was voted teacher of the year by the students of the HvA.

Currently, all attention is focused on the new practice Physiotherapy & Training Amsterdam and its development, to provide and ensure up to date and good quality care there.

Benjamin is a team player. He has an extensive network of healthcare professionals with whom he collaborates to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You can see him for manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, shoulder pain, hip and groin pain, osteoarthritis of the knee and hip. Furthermore, he is an expert on Post Intensive Care Syndrome.
